Reading Prediction
Reflection
I found it easy to write a prediction about this story because the front picture tells me a story. There are heaps of different things happening on the title page, so it made it easy for me to write about. I am proud of my work because I gave it a good go.

Basic Facts Speed Test Graph Term 1
During the week we practise our basic facts for our homework. On Fridays we have a speed test where we try to complete 100 facts in 6 minutes 30 seconds. This graph shows my scores so far.
I like this because it helps me with my basic facts.
When I look at this graph I can see that my maths is up and down.

Art Face Portraits
Saufoi
WALT sketch a face by following grid guidelines to make each
feature on the face in proportion.
First we drew a picture of what we thought we looked like.
I thought my before picture looked really bad because I never knew
how to draw a self portrait.
After a few art lessons we learned how to sketch a grid across the
shape of our face to help us draw each feature in proportion.
I thought my after picture was really good because we were taught
the basics of drawing a self portrait and drawing it in proportion.

Sensory Garden Recount
Reflection on my Recount -
- Bold where you think you are in your learning of the sensory recount.
- Remember you are just assessing how well you described your surroundings, using descriptive words or poetic devices.
Extended Abstract
|
I can help someone else to suggest ways to improve their own sensory recount.
|
Relational
|
I can add a poetic device to make it more interesting e.g simile, metaphor or alliteration.
|
Multistructural
|
I can describe using more than 2 senses in my recount.
|
Unistructural
|
I can describe using at least 2 of my senses in my recount.
|
Pre-structural
|
I need help to find words to describe what I see, feel, touch, or hear.
|
I have put myself at multistructural stage because I can describe using more than 2 senses.
My next learning step is to work on adding more similes and metaphors.
